Do you need both a model and drawing?
A model defines geometry. A drawing is strongly recommended when the part includes tolerances, threads, datums, finishes, or inspection requirements.
How do you select a machine type?
The review considers geometry, size, material, tolerance, quantity, setup count, and lead-time goals before routing the project.
Can machining and finishing be quoted together?
Yes. List the finish specification, color, masking areas, cosmetic requirements, and any required certification in the RFQ.
