Metal stamping questions

Is stamping only for very high volume?

Tooling is volume-sensitive, but different tool types can suit short, medium, or high-volume programs. The forecast guides the recommendation.

Can stamped parts be plated?

Yes. State plating specification, thickness, masking, contact requirements, cosmetic areas, and whether parts are plated before or after forming.

Can prototypes be made before hard tooling?

Laser cutting, machining, soft tooling, or staged tooling may be used to validate geometry before committing to production tooling.
