How does the part cost estimator work?
Enter a bounding box in millimeters, a material, and a quantity. The tool prices a solid rectangular prism (fill ratio 1.0) with the CNC, SLM, and polymer formulas in the quote engine, using rates v1.1. The public band is that order total ±12%. Hollow parts cost less than this solid estimate.
Why can a small aluminum part sit on a round order total?
