Surface Finishing

Brushed and Polished Finishes

Brushing uses abrasive belts or pads to create a uniform linear grain. Polishing uses progressively finer abrasives and compounds to produce a smooth, reflective surface. Both are mainly cosmetic but also reduce roughness.
