How It Works

How 3DWK Works

A straightforward path from CAD file to finished parts, with engineers reviewing your files before you receive a quote.

Process

Six steps from file to delivery

1

Upload CAD and requirements

Submit an RFQ with 3D CAD (STEP preferred), 2D drawings, material, finish, quantity, critical tolerances, and target date. No account is required.

2

Engineering review

Our team checks process fit, manufacturability, material availability, tolerances, and finishing, and raises questions or DFM suggestions when needed.

3

Receive your quote

We prepare a quote for your actual part and process and follow up directly by email.

4

Approve and order

Confirm the quote, revision, and any inspection or documentation requirements.

5

Manufacturing

Your project is produced by a suitable partner and the 3DWK team coordinates progress and communication.

6

Inspection and shipment

Parts are checked against the agreed requirements, packed, and shipped with requested inspection and project records.
